Ravi Gupta is the Editor-in-Chief of GIS Development magazines. He is a doctorate from Delhi University and holds a M.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Kanpur, India and in Applied Geophysics from IIT Roorkee, India. He is the Co- Founder and Director of Centre for Science, Development and Media Studies (CSDMS), an NGO involved in propagating the usage of information technologies in development programmes in Asia. He is also the editor of i4d, e-Gov and Digital Learning magazines.
